A DELICACY FROM OUR CHEF’S HOMELAND. In a small fishing village in the municipality of Tavira, Santa Luzia is nationally recognized as the Octopus Capital. This delicacy is born from this tradition, masterfully prepared by our chef, who honors every stage of the process and applies techniques inherited from the teachings of her ancestors. The salad is served in the traditional way, so that you can fully appreciate the authenticity and flavor of a dish that is truly our own.

THE ALBACORE TUNA. The Algarve remains the Portuguese region where this species is most caught, especially Albacore Tuna. In this dish, we prioritize the freshness of our tuna, which, once sliced, harmonizes with a selection of spices and house-made sauces.

A DISH FULL OF HISTORY. Tuna prepared in this way has always been part of the dietary habits of the people of the Algarve. In our kitchen, after the tuna is cooked to perfection, a medley of sautéed local vegetables is added, perfectly complementing the dish.
